Mary Alice and Philip Oxford started Palm Valley Gymnastics and Dance in June of 1986. The business has grown each year providing Harlingen and the Rio Grande Valley area with quality gymnastics and dance instruction. Staff members are trained and certified with years of experience. Instructors attend annual conventions advancing their knowledge from other schools and coaches throughout the nation. The Jackson facility is 16,000 square feet with large competitive gymnasium and two dance studios. Our Wilson location is 22,000 square feet with two separate gyms, fitness training center and two dance studios.

Since 1986 Palm Valley Gymnastics and Dance in Harlingen is the place to be! We offer gymnastics and dance classes for children from 16 months to 18 years. From the beginner to the dedicated student, our trained staff will teach skills that encourage and develop your child both mentally and physically.

If you’re looking for an exciting venue for your child’s next birthday, we are the place for that too! Sit back and watch us take care of it all. From the set up to the clean up, it’s hassle free. All you have to do is walk in and enjoy the party with your child and guests. We will make sure your child’s birthday party is one she or he will not forget.

PVG&D has something for everyone in the family. Parents, while your child is in class you can workout in our state of the art fitness center. The Weightin’ Room is located on the second floor of our Wilson facility. While on the treadmill or elliptical you can watch your child in class through the large viewing windows that over see both our preschool and recreational gyms. The concept of the Weightin’ Room is just like the name says, “do your weights” while you wait.
